Krista Hoffman is a California-based interior designer and is known for her organic and timeless residential interiors reflective of each individual client.
Hoffman’s interior design career followed a rigorous career in science and technology. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a math degree, she was a computer programmer and a project manager. In response to a creative calling, Hoffman fully switched gears and enrolled in design school. Krista credits a foundation in math and technology for the unique perspective she brings to design where she uses numbers, proportion, and scale as guiding principles.
In 2017, Hoffman was selected to participate in the San Francisco Decorator showhouse and debuted perforated brass pulls for the occasion. The pieces became the highlight of the showcase and led to the founding of Hoffman Hardware.
Krista is a member of the Female Design Council and is active within the San Francisco design community as a member of the FOG Forum, a group of design industry leaders who support San Francisco’s premier modernism fair, FOG Design+Art, and SFMOMA's Architecture and Design Department.
